Tottenham beat Fulham to go second on the table

English Premier League’s sixth matchweek has started and all the big teams except Arsenal and Manchester United have played their games on Saturday, 4th September. Sixth matchweek of the Premier League was entertaining as per many fans. Tottenham Hotspur was against Fulham FC on Saturday in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Fulham in this fixture. Tottenham played well in all the aspects of the game. More shots, more shots on target, more possession, and more passes was done by Antonio Conte’s men against Fulham on Saturday. The whites took 23 shots on Fulham’s goal as compared to the opponent’s 9. In the first half, Tottenham’s midfielder Hojbjerg scored the opening goal in the 40th minute. Conte’s side were leading the game in the half-time.

In the second half, Fulham FC started creating some chances as they were desperately looking for an equalising goal. In the 75th minute, Tottenham Hotspur were 2-0 up in the game after Harry Kane found the net. Fulham FC did score a goal in the later minutes but it wasn’t enough for them to take some points from this game. With this wonderful victory, Tottenham Hotspur moved to the second position of the Premier League points table.
