Suresh Raina retires from all forms of cricket
Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has officially retired from all the formats of cricket. Former Indian cricket team’s middle order batter took his social media handles to announce his retirement from all the formats of cricket. On 15th August, 2020 both legends MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina took retirement from the International cricket. However they were still playing franchise cricket. Raina also played some first class cricket after retiring from International cricket.
Suresh Raina tweeted a message in his retirement message on Tuesday, 6th September on his official Twitter handle. The former left-handed batter Suresh Raina also did commentary in the IPL 2022 when he got unsold in the mega auction. No teams bought him, even CSK didn’t get him back to the team for the IPL 2022.
Suresh Raina will not be seen playing cricket from now on as he has announced his retirement from all the formats. Suresh had a great career not only for the Indian jersey but in IPL, Ranji Trophy, and other leagues. He also helped India win World Cup 2011. His innings against Pakistan in the semifinals is still remembered by fans and ex-cricketers.
