“The King is back,” Twitter reacts to Virat Kohli’s 71st Century
Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has finally reached his 71st century in the international cricket. The batter waited for nearly 3 years for this. He had the longest century drought which he ended on Thursday, 8th September by hitting a century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup super 4 game.
The fans have gone crazy in the social media as the one of the best batter in the world is trending after his 71st hundred. This was also Virat Kohli’s first century in the T20 international. Kohli reached so many milestones in one game as he also completed his 100 sixes in T20I cricket. The former Indian captain (Virat Kohli) also got past 3500-run mark in the T20 internationals.
Indian cricket team won the game against Afghanistan by 101 runs. Despite a huge victory it is of no use as India is already out of the Asia Cup 2022. They lost two games in Super 4, one against Pakistan and another one against Sri Lanka which ended their run in this year’s tournament. India will now be focusing on T20 World Cup as Virat Kohli is also back in form.
71! Maybe a new beginning?
