Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup and Australia & South Africa series. BCCI has announced the squad on Monday, 12th September. There was a positive feeling among fans after they saw the World Cup squad. Some wanted to see Sanju Samson in the squad but the batter couldn’t make it to that.
Fans are happy to see that the Indian pacer Mohammad Shami is back in the squad for the Australia and South Africa’s series. Not only in the T20I series against Australia and South Africa but also he was picked up as a standby player in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Some ex-cricketers also questioned the team selection of India in the Asia Cup 2022 and they kept asking questions on why Shami wasn’t picked up in the squad.
