Mohammad Shami to miss T20I series against Australia due to COVID-19

Indian fans have a bad news as pacer Mohammad Shami has been tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the T20I series against Australia. The reports of the Indian pacer was out on Saturday night and after this BCCI decided to rule out Mohammad Shami. He won’t feature in the three-match T20Is against Australia starting from 20th September.

Mohammad Shami wasn’t included in the Indian squad by the selectors in this recent Asia Cup 2022. The fans questioned BCCI when he wasn’t picked up for the Asia Cup and they are still questioning them as the experienced pace bowler is not in the upcoming T20 World Cup squad. Shami is in the list of back-up players in the World Cup. Mohammad Shami got a chance to perform in the series against Australia and South Africa, but he will now not be featuring in the Australian one.
