He can’t open the batting with Rahul and Rohit available: Gautam Gambhir

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir was pissed off listening to this comments of ‘Kohli should open with Rohit Sharma.’

Gautam Gambhir feels there is no chance former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli will bat at opening in the world cup especially when skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul is in the team. The former left hand batter thinks the talks of Kohli opening the innings with Rohit sharma in the World Cup is absolute nonsense and there should be any further talks in this topic.

“Imagine KL Rahul going into the World Cup thinking, ‘what if I don’t score runs against Pakistan? What if I get replaced by Virat Kohli?’ You don’t want that. We should start thinking about how India can flourish, rather than certain individuals. Kohli can’t open the batting with KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma available. I said this on air we shouldn’t even start this,” said Gautam Gambhir via Star Sports.
