Diogo Dalot to sign new contract at Manchester United

Diogo Dalot will be signing a new contract with his Premier League club Manchester United soon as reported by reliable Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, 27th September. Manchester United’s right-back is one of the best defenders this season.

Manchester United’s new manager Erik ten Hag is really impressed with the right-back and thus wants him to sign a long-term contract with the club. Before Dalot, Manchester United used to play Aaron-Wan Bissaka in the right-back position. Since Erik got in, Wan Bissaka wasn’t seen.

Dalot recently scored two goals for Portugal and both the goals were amazing as he initiated the attack in both of these goals. He was the player to watch out for Portugal in this International break. Dalot was also named ‘Player of the match’ for his wonderful goals against Czech Republic. With the help of his two goals and this victory, Portugal are currently at the first position in their group overtaking Spain.

Portugal and Spain will meet each other in the UEFA Nations League which will decide who goes further in the competition. The contract will be signed and made official by Manchester United very soon as per Fabrizio Romano’s latest tweet.
