Former Indian opener suggests a possible candidate to replace Jasprit Bumrah

Indian cricket team pacer Jasprit Bumrah won’t be seen playing in the upcoming T20 World Cup because of his serious back stress he got. Due to his back injury, India will miss one of the best death bowlers in the biggest tournament. India is still finding the replacement of Bumrah. According to former Indian cricketer named Wasim Jaffer, Indian cricket team don’t have any replacement for Bumrah as he feels there’s no one present in the current squad who can replace Bumrah.

Wasim Jaffer is a great admirer of Jasprit Bumrah’s death bowling and feels India has the best death bowler in the team. The former Indian opener also praised the Indian pacer in his latest interview. Jaffer feels there’s one guy who can be the possibile candidate to replace Jasprit Bumrah in the upcoming T20 World Cup which is to be played in the month of October.

Jaffer feels Mohammad Shami can replace Jasprit Bumrah in the team as he has the pace and has a bit of experience as well.

“I don’t think we have got a replacement for Bumrah. But the best guy to replace him would probably be Mohammed Shami. But again the death bowling is a concern with Shami,” said Wasim Jaffer on ESPNcricinfo.
