Indian team makes history in T20Is; tops this incredible list

Indian cricket team has made history in T20I cricket as they become the first ever team to smack most number of sixes in a calendar year. Indian cricket team have smacked 216 sixes so far in T20I cricket in the year 2022 which is most by any team in the history of cricket in T20I format in a calendar year.

Indian team have won so many series this year and is one of the contenders to win the T20 World Cup starting from this month. Suryakumar Yadav is also one of the reason behind this India’s success in the calendar year (2022). Suryakumar Yadav scored the most runs in T20Is than any other batter in 2022. Suryakumar Yadav has also hit most number of sixes for India in this year. Suryakumar is definitely one of the players to watch out for in the World Cup.

Indian cricket team has broken the record of West Indies’ cricket team who hit 214 sixes in the year 2021. This year hasn’t ended yet, so Indian team can still go further this number (216* sixes).
