Ind v SA,1st ODI: Ravi Bishnoi grabs his maiden ODI wicket

Indian cricket team are currently playing the first ODI against South Africa. The game is ongoing at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow. In this first game of the series against South Africa, there are two debutants for India. Spin bowler Ravi Bishnoi and opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad has made their ODI debut for India on Thursday, 6th October.

They both received their blue caps ahead of the game (1st ODI). Ruturaj Gaikwad hasn’t been seen as India is bowling firs in the game but fans witnessed Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling. It was not an ideal start for the spin bowler in the ODIs as he was beaten for so many runs in his first four overs. Ravi Bishnoi gave 31 runs in his first three overs and thus his spell was stopped by Shikhar Dhawan who is leading this ODI side.

After Ravi Bishnoi was brought on again in search of wickets, he dismissed Quinton de Kock who was playing well and was set on 48 runs. It was a great delivery by Ravi Bishnoi to sent de Kock back to pavilion and grab his first ODI wicket.
