“Keep him in World Cup squad,” Twitter reacts to Sanju Samson’s fiery innings
Indian cricket team was defeated by South Africa by 9 runs in the first ODI on Thursday, 6th October at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Not a very good performance from bat and bowl and thus India were a bit behind South Africa throughout the game. India lost this game but Indian batter Sanju Samson won hearts of many fans as he stood alone in the crease when the wickets kept falling down during the chase.
Fans praised Sanju Samson a lot for his fiery innings. Sanju Samson again proved that why he can be in India’s first team. Sanju Samson scored 86* runs in 63 balls getting India very close to victory in a very difficult game. Sanju Samson came onto the crease when India were 51/4. He came on at the very difficult situation and made Indian fans believe that they can still win this. Some experts also liked this effort from Sanju Samson and believed if some batter would have stood on the other side with him then this could have been their game.
