Disappointment is definitely there: Shardul Thakur

Indian first team squad has landed in Australia for the upcoming T20 World Cup. They have also started doing practice sessions there. The B team is playing ODI series against South Africa in India. Indian pacer Shardul Thakur is not in the World Cup squad.

The pacer opened up after not being selected in the World Cup squad of India. Shardul Thakur is a good pace bowler who use lot of variations in his bowling but some recent time is not been good for him. The bowler is struggling a bit to find his place in the team. Shardul Thakur said he is disappointed not to get selected for the World Cup. He has a dream of playing a World Cup and winning with the team.

“Of course, it’s a big setback. Every player dreams of playing in the World Cup, not just play but win it as well,” said Shardul Thakur ahead of the second ODI between India and South Africa. The pacer said he will try hard to get back in the first team and play the next World Cup with the Indian team.
