Zlatan Ibrahimović wants to continue playing for AC Milan
AC Milan and Sweden Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been around long enough to be considered a modern-day legend. He has played in the top clubs around Europe as well as America and has no plans of retiring just yet.
Recently, the 40-year-old, while talking about his future plays in an Italian talk show Che Tempo Che Fa, said that he was scared of the uncertainty of his life after football. “I want to play as long as possible. As long as I have the adrenaline, I will continue,” Ibrahimovic told on the show.
Zlatan also revealed that he has decided to pressure the Italian Club for his contract extension. His current contract with AC Milan comes to an end at the end of the season. Although his primary concern is his life after football, talking about which he said, “I don’t know what will happen after football, so I am a little scared to stop. We’ll see, but I want to continue playing so that I don’t have any regrets.”
AC Milan won their last encounter against bottom side Salernitana in the Serie A match to reclaim the top spot of the league table. Their next home match will be against Liverpool in the mid-week encounter of the UEFA Champions League. It’s a must-win game for them to qualify for the round of 16.
