Queensland Police posts humorous tweet calling English batters as impersonators
After the Australian bowlers had their share of fun on the field, it was the local police who decided to take a jab at the already demoralized English batting lineup.
The Australian bowlers bowled their hearts out to bundle the English innings under 150. It took them just two sessions to do so. Hence, aiming a humorous jab at poor English batting performance, the Queensland Police posted a social media post on Twitter that read: “launching an investigation into a group impersonating a Test Batting order at the Gabba.”

This came after the English batters were simply not able to cope with the stunning bowling display by Australia. They lost their opener, Rory Burns, on the first ball of the series, and what followed next was not pleasant either. Mitchell Starc opened wounds in English batting later Hazlewood and Cummins rub salt to those wounds. Following which England was all out for 147 by tea.
Rain spoiled the third session of the game. The crowd and spectators around the globe, however, enjoyed the first two sessions of the game. Hopefully, the sun will shine tomorrow, and everyone will get to enjoy four days of fantastic competition.
