Premier League: Cristiano Ronaldo’s hattrick powers United into the top-four against Tottenham

Cristiano Ronaldo set another goalscoring record in a return to form with a hat-trick to keep Manchester United’s chances of playing in the Champions League next season alive with a 3-2 victory over Tottenham on Saturday. Ronaldo had scored recently once in his past 10 matches, yet three amazing finishes took him clear as the highest scorer in professional men’s football history as per FIFA’s records with 807 goals for club and country.

It took just 12 minutes for Ronaldo to make his mark with an amazing strike into the top corner from outside the box.

A Tottenham equaliser seemed only a matter of time and was gifted to them when Alex Telles handled Dejan Kulusevski’s cross for a clear penalty. Harry Kane then scored the penalty and equalized the score.

Within three minutes, though, Manchester United were back in front thanks to a landmark goal for Ronaldo.

At the point when a second equaliser did arrive for Tottenham it was on account of more misery for United captain Harry Maguire.
