3 players who are expected replace Shivam Dube in CSK’s playing XI

Shivam Dube may have to make way for some other player in CSK’s XI. He scored just three off six balls before getting dismissed by Sunil Narine. He bowled one over and got hit for 11 runs. CSK has other fine options in their squad and can give chance to any of them.

Here are three players who can replace Shivam Dube in CSK’s XI:

1. Dwaine Pretorius

The handy all-rounder from South Africa can be a great option to have in the middle-order. He will fit perfectly in the place of Shivam Dube. Dwaine Pretorius has been around in international cricket for a while. He has been a wonderful performer for the Proteas but is yet to play the IPL.

2. Rajvardhan Hangargekar

A solid and sound fast bowler and a reliable candidate in the lower-order, Rajvardhan Hangargekar played an important role in India winning the 2022 U-19 World Cup. Just a few days after the final of the tournament, Chennai Super Kings purchased him for INR 1.5 crore after his brilliance at the World Cup. Hangargekar impressed every cricket fan as well as the experts with his all-round abilities.

3. KM Asif

If CSK requires a fast bowler in place of Dube, then Asif can be given a chance by the franchise this time. He hits the deck hard and can produce extra pace and will be an ideal companion for the Kiwi pacer Adam Milne. Since Deepak Chahar is not available, CSK can bring Asif to strengthen their bowling.
