Aaron Finch set to retire from ODIs after third game against New Zealand

Australian opening batter Aaron Finch is set to retire from One-day international cricket after the third game against New Zealand. Australian cricket team is playing a three-match ODI series against New Zealand currently. Australian team has already won the series after they won the second game to make it 2-0 lead in the series.

The ODI cricket captain Aaron Finch has decided to take retirement from the ODIs after this third and the last ODI against New Zealand which will be played on Sunday, 11th September. Aaron Finch has won so many trophies with the team and also they were the Champions of the T20 World Cup played in the year 2021. Finch will be captaining the side for the last time in ODIs for Australia as per reports.

The opening batter plays for the IPL franchise named Kolkata Knight Riders. He also featured in this year’s Indian Premier League. The batter is taking retirement from ODIs but will continue to captain the T20I side.
