Argentina continue their unbeaten run; beat Honduras by 3-0
Argentina national football team has beaten Honduras on Saturday, 24th September in the Club friendlies game. As there is international break going on currently and the players are in their respective countries for the international matches ahead of the very big tournament i.e. FIFA World Cup 2022.
European clubs are playing their UEFA Nations League whereas South American are onto some friendly games ahead of the restart of the club football. With this victory, Argentina are now 34 games unbeaten in any international games. Lionel Messi’s side are only 4 games away to beat Italy’s record of remaining unbeaten in most consecutive games.
Argentina won this game by 3-0 as goals were scored by country captian Lionel Messi and Manchester United’s new centre-back Lisandro Martinez. Lisandro Martinez is in exceptional form since he has got into the Manchester United squad. Lionel Messi is also in a great run of form this season not only with his club but showing with in his country’s shirt as well. Lionel Messi scored brace as one of those goals were penalty and the other one was a superb typical Messi’s style goal. Lisandro Martinez opened the scoring in the 16th minute of the game.
