Arsenal free Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join FC Barcelona

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left Arsenal, the membership introduced on Tuesday, making room in which for the striker to signal for Barcelona as a free agent. The 32-year-old former Arsenal captain was seen in photographs from Barcelona coaching posted via social media on Tuesday. The Gabonese striker showed up in Spain on Monday just forward of the tip of the January switch window. However, the golf equipment didn’t announce a deal earlier than the deadline handed. His launch by Arsenal makes him a free agent, in a position to signal exterior the window.

“Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left the membership by mutual settlement,” the Premier League club said in a statement. “We wish Aba all the best for the next chapter in his career and thank him for his contribution to the club.”

The British Press Association reported that Arsenal delayed announcing Aubameyang’s departure as a gesture of respect to Barcelona, whose president, Joan Laporta, said on Tuesday that the official disclosing may come later in the week.
