Ashwin shares image of Axar and Jadeja posing with Ajaz and Ravindra to complete their names

Indiaโ€™s prolific victory against New Zealand in the second test has brought back the smiles on the faces of Indian players and fans alike. Following a turbulent period that saw India getting knocked out of the T20 World Cup for which they were deemed favourites, the Indian fans once again have something to be happy about.

The same happiness was witnessed on the field amid the players, as Ravichandran Ashwin took it to his social media account to share a light moment shared by the Indian players. In Ashwinโ€™s post, Axar Patel, Ajaz Patel, Rachit Ravindra, and Ravindra Jadeja were seen posing with their backs to the camera.

Apparently, the interesting fact about these four players is that they either have a common first name or last name and wear it on the back of their shirt. Hence, they stood in a manner that their shirt names spelt out the full names of the Indian players: Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja. A really fascinating fact about these four bowlers is that all all of them are left-arm finger spinners, and possess very similar bowling styles and prowess.

Coming to the series, India had a walk in the park against New Zealand in the T20I series, where they completed their second consecutive whitewash on the Blackcaps. In the test series, however, New Zealand was able to save the first test, but in the second test, India made sure that they had adequate time to bundle out the New Zealand batters.

In the second test, India also recorded their most significant victory in test matches in terms of margin of runs. They won the game with 372 runs. Their previous highest was some 340 runs against South Africa in 2015.
