Asia Cup 2022: Rohit Sharma praises Virat’s innings against Pakistan

Indian cricket team got defeated by Pakistan on Sunday, 4th September. The Indian side did some mistakes in the end which cost them this game. Winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bowl first. Indian team batted well but could have scored more runs in the end. Virat Kohli scored 60 runs in the first innings. This was Virat’s second consecutive fifty in the Asia Cup 2022.

Virat Kohli helped India reach a good total of 181 runs but it wasn’t enough for them to win another game in the Asia Cup 2022. Indian captain Rohit Sharma praised Virat Kohli’s innings and also said that innings from the former Indian captain was important for the team.

“The Form is brilliant. Needed someone to bat long when the others were getting out. He batted with that tempo as well.
