Barca bounce back after a defeat against Real Madrid

After a defeat against Real Madrid last weekend, FC Barcelona have bounced back in mid-week. Xavi’s men defeated Villarreal FC on Thursday night, 20th October in La Liga. The game was played at Barcelona’s home stadium named Spotify Camp Nou.
FC Barcelona scored three goals in this game without a reply and that was a complete dominating performance from them. The home side didn’t let the visitors have more than one shot on target in the whole game. All the three goals that were scored in this game came in the first half itself.
Robert Lewandowski started the scoring in the 31st minute with a good pass from Jordi Alba before he turns and made an exquisite finish in the end. The Polish striker completed his brace 4 minutes later. This time it was assisted by the Kopa Trophy winner Gavi.
Three minutes later Robert Lewandowski’s brace, the young Spanish forward named Ansu Fati scored his first in the game which was backheel from the forward to make the scoreline 3-0 in the 38th minute. Barcelona are now three points behind league leaders Real Madrid who beat them last weekend by 3-1 at Santiago Bernabeu.
