Bayern through to the round of 16 of Champions League with a win over Viktoria Plzen

Bayern Munich and Viktoria Plzen were up against each other in the UEFA Champions League fixture on Wednesday night, 12th October in Doosan Arena (Viktoria Plzen’s home stadium). Bayern Munich won the game by 4-2 and made it into the round of 16 again this season.
The 2019/20 champions (Bayern Munich) dominated this game and earned the three points from this game. Bayern Munich was put in a group of death with having Inter Milan and Barcelona in it, but the Reds never made it look that. Bayern easily made it through to the Round of 16 of the Champions League (2022/23) with 4 wins in 4 games.
Bayern Munich scored 4 in this game starting with Sadio Mane in the 10th and Muller in the 14th minute. Bayern scored all the four goals in the first 45 minutes only. Leon Goretzka scored the other two goals for Bayern in the game.
Viktoria Plzen did try to make a comeback in this game but two goals wasn’t enough for them to earn some points. The host pulled two goals back in the second half but couldn’t complete their comeback, thanks to Bayern’s defender who hold them for the 90 minutes.
