BCCI announce Indian squad for T20 World Cup, Austraia & South Africa series

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad of India for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The much awaited squad is here as the World Cup is the main focus of this year. Not only BCCI announced Indian squad for World Cup, but also for the upcoming Australia and South Africa series.

India will play against Australia in the three-natch T20Is and then same against South Africa ahead of the big tournament i.e. T20 World Cup which will be starting from 16th October. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja hasn’t been picked up in any of the squad by the board as he is injured and had a surgery last week.

Indian squad for the T20 World Cup: 

Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.

Standby players – Mohd. Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar.
