Borussia Dortmund completes the comeback to snatch a point against Bayern
Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich were up against each other on Saturday night, 9th October. The El classico of Bundesliga was as entertaining as fans expected. It was one of the thrilling games to watch this season in the league.
Bayern Munich came very well in this game as they started their goal scoring in the 33rd minute when former Schalke man named Leon Goretzka scored after a beautiful assist by Musiala. It was a low-strike shot into the bottom left corner. A yellow card to Dortmund’s Central-defensive midfielder Emre Can ended the half with a scoreline of 1-0.
Bayern Munich doubled their lead as Leroy Sane scored a wonderful 20 yards goal to make it 2-0. Dortmund after that second goal from Bayern started creating chances. Their hard work paid off when Moukoko scored a goal back for Dortmund in the 74th minute. The goal was assisted by Modeste who missed the sitter after some minutes where they had the chance to equalise the scoreline.
Dortmund did equalise in the last minute and it was Modeste only who scored the second goal for the host to help them take 1 point from the game.
