Chelsea part ways with the manager Thomas Tuchel

English Premier League’s side Chelsea FC sacked their manager Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday, 7th September following the defeat in their first UEFA Champions League (2022/23) game on Tuesday night against Dinamo Zagreb. Chelsea had their first game in the UCL against Dinamo Zagreb and they were beaten by 1-0.

Chelsea FC was the club who spent more than €215 million in the transfer window and they are the biggest spending club of this summer transfer window of 2022/23 season. They brought two new centre-backs and a striker namely Wesley Fofana from Leicester and Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from FC Barcelona. Not only this, but they bought a new goalkeeper and also a midfielder named Denis Zakaria from Juventus FC.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was convinced about Thomas Tuchel’s qualities as manager but his mind changed after the game against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League as reported by Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano. Chelsea FC after sacking Thomas Tuchel are now searching for a new manager.

Chelsea have identified their new manager target, Graham Potter of Brighton has been in the top of their list (as per Fabrizio Romano) and the contacts with the Brighton manager has already started.
