Former Indian captain MS Dhoni will remain as captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Last year IPL franchise CSK changed their captain and named star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja the captain of the team. However after some games, Ravindra Jadeja resigned from the role and gave away that to his senior MS Dhoni again. Former Indian captain is one of the greatest captain of Indian team in all the formats.
Chennai Super Kings’ management and owner confirmed on Sunday that MS will remain the captain of the franchise for the next season of Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2023. Last year Chennai Super Kings didn’t have a great season as they finished second last in the points table. They finished above the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
Both the champion side had a season to forget (IPL 2022). Depsite that performance, CSK decided to back their team and captain for the next season as a part of their process. Ravindra Jadeja could be one of the players of CSK who will be leaving the franchise and join another franchise.
