Erik ten Hag backs Cristiano Ronaldo & happy with the striker
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag faced media on Wednesday, 12th October ahead of their Europa League game against Omonia FC. Manchester United is due to play against Omonia FC on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League. Erik ten Hag was asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s new milestone that he achieved in their last game.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 700th club goal in the game against Everton FC in Goodison Park in the English Premier League played on Sunday night. Manchester United’s manager was happy that Ronaldo reached this milestone and he said he wants to support him.
Since the start, Erik ten Hag keeps saying that Ronaldo is important for Manchester United and he doesn’t want him to leave. Ronaldo has scored only two goals this season but Erik ten Hag backs him and happy that he is back in touch.
“I want to support him as good as possible. We have certain demands from players, what we expect in certain positions. I want to get the best out of him, he’s in better shape now and I’m happy with that,” said Erik ten Hag in his recent press conference via MUTV.
