Erik ten Hag to have a word with Ronaldo after he left the field before full-time against Spurs
Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag will have a word with Cristiano Ronaldo who left the field early in the English Premier League game between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur which was played on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.
It was an amazing night for the Manchester United fans as they witnessed one of the best performances from the team this season. However Cristiano Ronaldo fans wouldn’t be happy as they didn’t see him on the pitch against Spurs. The Portuguese forward is reportedly got pissed off after he wasn’t brought on in the pitch by the manager named Erik ten Hag.
Erik ten Hag made three substitutes in the game against Tottenham Hotspur. Those three substitutes were Scott McTominay, Anthony Elanga, and Christian Eriksen. Ronaldo was waiting for his chance to play but in the 89th minute he was seen leaving the field and reportedly left the stadium instead of going to the dressing room. After the game, the manager was asked about the situation and the former Ajax boss said he will deal with this situation the next day.
“I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are now celebrating this victory,” said Ten Hag as reported by Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter handle.
