Fans question BCCI for selecting Mohammad Shami in the World Cup squad
Indian cricket team has already started practice sessions and practice games in Australia ahead of the World Cup 2022. Ahead of the tournament, BCCI has named replacement for the injured pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Indian pacer Mohammad Shami has replaced Jasprit Bumrah on Friday, 14th October as posted by BCCI on their official website.
BCCI added Shami as he is a well experienced bowler and has played so many games for Indian team. Some fans however is not happy with this selection from BCCI. Some fans believe Mohammad Shami haven’t played much games this year as he was injured too. Mohammad Shami didn’t play a single T20 international game for India since T20 World Cup 2021. Due to lack of presence in the Indian cricket team especially in T20Is, fans believed it was a wrong decision by BCCI and selectors.
A big challenge for the Indian bowling line-up in this world cup. They are leaking runs like anything.
