Gautam Gambhir wants Suryakumar Yadav to change his batting position in T20Is

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir wants Suryakumar Yadav to change his batting position in the T20 Internationals. Gautam Gambhir has made a big statement regarding the batting position of Suryakumar Yadav. Gambhir feels Indian team middle order batter Suryakumar Yadav can be one of the best batter in T20Is if he’s batting at No.3.

Gautam Gambhir didn’t comment anything about Virat Kohli but the world knows that the former Indian captain (Virat Kohli) bats at that position. Suryakumar Yadav bats at No. 4 for India and probably selectors and BCCI wants him to play at that position for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Gautam Gambhir thinks the other way and sees Suryakumar Yadav as a top-order batter.

“He has got so much experience, he can still come and bat at No.4, depending on the situation. I personally feel that Surya should be batting at No.3 from here on till the World Cup and see how the results is going to be,” said Gautam Gambhir via Star Sports, also reported by India Today.

After this statement from Gambhir, Suryakumar Yadav played a magnificent innings in the match against Hong Kong while batting at No. 4. He scored 68* runs and was named player of the match.
