Gavi to sign a new deal with Barcelona; Fabrizio Romano confirms

FC Barcelona’s central midfielder Gavi is all set to sign a new contract with the club in the coming days. Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday, 13th September via his social media handles that the Spanish young star (Gavi) is ready to commit some more years to the La Liga side (FC Barcelona).

According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest report, the midfielder named Gavi will sign a new deal until 2026, which means it will be a four-year deal. Barcelona knows how good Gavi plays in the midfield. Not only a four-year contract, but the club (FC Barcelona) will increase his salary as a gift for his incredible development in the last 15 months. The club will also set a release clause in this new deal (as per Fabrizio Romano’s latest Instagram post).

The release clause amount will be €1 Billion. It will be major improvement for the 18-year old Spanish star.
