Gunners go back to the top as they beat Liverpool 3-2

Arsenal defeated Liverpool FC on Sunday night, 9th October in Emirates Stadium (Arsenal’s home ground). Mikel Arteta has again shown it that why his team is in this year’s title race and why they can be the winners of the English Premier League. This was a thrilling encounter between Jurgen Klopp’s Reds and Mikel Arteta’s Gunners.

Arsenal FC were so quick as they scored their first goal in the very first minute. Gabriel Martinelli who is in amazing run of form made an exquisite finish to beat Allison Becker. Arsenal FC were leading by 1-0 and they were on the ball for sometime before Liverpool started to make attacks.

Liverpool FC did find the equaliser in the 34th minute when new signing Nunez scored. Arsenal were leading in the half, thanks to Saka who scored from his last touch of the first half and made the scoreline 2-1. Liverpool FC were back with a bang in the second as they again found the equalising goal in the 53rd minute. This time it was Roberto Firmino who scored for Liverpool who made a good run past Saliba. However Liverpool still lost after they concede a late penalty which was converted by Saka and he won it for the Gunners.
