Hardik Pandya feels absence of this pacer makes big difference

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has opened up after the first T20I against Australia. Gujarat Titans’ captain Hardik Pandya was the star performer for India in this game against the defending champions of T20 World Cup. Hardik Pandya feels absence of Jasprit Bumrah makes a huge difference.

Indian experienced pacer Jasprit Bumrah didn’t play the first game of the series against Australia on Tuesday, 20th September. Rohit Sharma said Bumrah has just got back from his injury and needs some time to get in the zone and thus the pacer was rested for this game.

“Jasprit not being there obviously makes a big difference. He is coming back after an injury, it is important for him to get enough time to kind of come back and maybe not put a lot of pressure on himself,” said Hardik Pandya told the reporters as reported by India Today.

Indian team lost the first game by 4 wickets as Matthew Wade took on Indian pacers in the death overs to make Australia lead the series by 1-0. It seems Jasprit Bumrah will play the second game of the series which will be played on 23rd September, Friday in VCA Stadium.
