India and Australia sweat it out in the nets ahead of the first T20I
Indian cricket team is due to play three T20Is against Australia in the coming week. The three-match T20I is starting from Tuesday, 20th September when both the teams will be up against each other in Mohali in the series opener. Rohit Sharma has been named captain as it is more of a practice games for India ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Before this game, the teams were seen practicing in the nets of the Mohali stadium, Punjab. The sun is out in Mohali and there’s less chances of rain on Tuesday. Australian team also had a net session ahead of the series opener. Australian captain Aaron Finch who recently announced his retirement from the One-day International was seen batting in the nets with his left hand.
It seems Aaron Finch was trying out new things by going left-handed. The right-handed opening batter (Aaron Finch) will be the skipper in this series. Indian team players were also seen in nets on Sunday as some of the players posted photos on their Instagram or Twitter handle. The first game between India and Australia will start at 7:30 PM (IST).
