Indian head coach Rahul Dravid provides update on Jasprit Bumrah’s injury
Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid has given some positive updates on Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah got injured just after the three-match T20I series against Australia which was played last month. Indian star pacer (Jasprit Bumrah) came from his earlier injury and was selected for the Australia and South Africa series.
Jasprit Bumrah was also picked up by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the upcoming T20 World Cup along with another Indian pacer named Harshal Patel who also came back from his injury at the same time. Bumrah played the second and third T20I against Australia and had a decent performance. Just before the first T20I against South Africa, the news was circulated that Bumrah is suffering from serious back stress which could lead him out of the world cup. Head coach Rahul Dravid feels there is still time and the pacer is not ruled out from the T20 World Cup yet.
“Obviously till he’s completely ruled out, and we get an official confirmation that he’s ruled out, we will always be hopeful. We will always hope for the best just for us as a team and Jasprit as an individual,” said Rahul Dravid as reported by ESPNcricinfo.
