Industry veteran Kercy Sorabji Daruwala passes away at 68

The resigned managing director of SPE Films India (Sony), Kercy Sorabji Daruwala breathed his last on Saturday after suffering a massive heart attack. He was 68.

The last rites will start today around 10:00 am at the Tower of Silence, Kemps Corner, Mumbai, following  COVID rules and safety precautions.

The veteran hailed from Baroda Gujarat and is survived by his significant other Hutoxi and their daughter.

On the work front, other than working with SPE Films India, Kercy Sorabji Daruwala also served influential corporate roles in different entertainment companies after his retirement in 2015.
