Kapil Dev predicts India’s chances of reaching semi-finals of T20 World Cup

The biggest tournament have begun i.e. ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. However the tournament hasn’t started completely as there are qualifications round going on currently. Indian cricket team along with some big teams are playing warm-up games ahead of their matches.

Ahead of this tournament, Kapil Dev has made a statement regarding Indian cricket team’s chances to reach the semi-finals of the competition. Former Indian cricketer isn’t expecting much from the Indian side who will be in Australia to play this tournament. Kapil Dev feels there are very less chances for India to make it to the top 4 of the T20 World Cup 2022.

“It’s very difficult to talk about the chances of India winning the World Cup. The issue is can they make it to the top four? And I am concerned about their making it to the top four. Only then anything can be said. For me, it’s just 30 percent chance of India making it to the top (last) four,” said Kapil Dev at some event in Lucknow as reported by ANI on Wednesday.

Indian cricket team is going to play the first game of the T20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan which will be played on Sunday, 23rd October at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
