Manchester United drop Cristiano Ronaldo for the Chelsea’s game
After Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, 19th October at Old Trafford in the English Premier League, the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo was all over the headlines. Cristiano Ronaldo left the stadium before the full-time and as per reports, he refused to come on as a substitute in the game against Tottenham Hotspur after Erik ten Hag asked him to.
The Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been banned for Manchester United’s upcoming game against Chelsea in the English Premier League which will be played on Saturday. It was a decision made by manager Erik ten Hag because Ronaldo didn’t behave properly in the field and as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano’s reports, the club (Manchester United) is fully backing and supporting the manager on his decision and will continue to stay with this.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea. The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture, read the official Manchester United statement posted on club’s official website on Thursday, 20th October.
