Manchester United end Arsenal’s winning streak

English Premier League side Manchester United ended Arsenal’s winning streak after they defeat them by 3-1 in the Premier League game on Sunday, 4th September. The game was played at Old Trafford (Manchester United’s home ground). Manchester United demolished Arsenal to earn the deserving three points in the game.

Arsenal FC won five out of five games until they met Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. United handed over Arsenal their first defeat of the new season of the Premier League (2022/23). Manchester United were the one who scored the opening goal. It was Man United’s new signing Antony who was making his debut in the Premier League. Antony gave the lead to the home side in the half time before getting substituted in the second half. Arsenal FC gave a very tough fight as they also scored the equaliser in the 60th minute.

Marcus Rashford didn’t let the scoreline stay as it is so he scored in the 66th minute. Rashford scored his second 9 minutes later which was assisted to him by Christian Eriksen who is also another new signing of Manchester United. Man United moved to 5th position in the points table.
