Manchester United win three in a row; move up the table
Manchester United were up against Leicester City in the Premier League matchday 5. It was the last game of the matchweek 5. Despite the scoreline looking decent the game wasn’t much. Manchester United had their third victory in a row in the Premier League this season. Since Erik ten Hag (Manchester United manager) has made changes in the central defensive partnership, United haven’t lost a single game.
The defensive partnership of new signing Lisandro Martinez and four-time Champions League winner Raphael Varane is working out well for Manchester United as they kept clean sheet in consecutive two away games. Last time they were against Southampton in the Premier League and at St. Mary’s (Southampton home ground) as well they kept a clean sheet.
The first half sees a single goal and it was the winner which was scored by English forward Jadon Sancho. The build-up for the goal was amazing as right-back Diogo Dalot started it all. Erik ten Hag was happy after United’s third win in a row. With this victory over Leicester City on Thursday night gets Manchester United to the 5th position in the points table.
