Marcus Rashford wins Premier League ‘Player of the month’ for September
A great day for Manchester United fans as their striker Marcus Rashford won the Premier League ‘Player of the month’ for September. Marcus Rashford is back in form after he had a rough patch since last season. After his shoulder surgery, Marcus wasn’t seen in great touch.
After Manchester United’s new manager Erik ten Hag arrived, he gave a suitable role to Marcus Rashford and played him as striker’s position. Since then, Marcus has been brilliant and scored two goals, and recorded two assist in the month of September. Very few games were played in September because of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and also there were International break scheduled.
In the two games Man United played in September this season, they won both. One was played against Leicester City and the other one was against Arsenal FC. Marcus Rashford scored two goals and an assist against Arsenal and also made an assist against Leicester City.
Manchester United’s new manager Erik ten Hag also been named as the Premier League ‘Manager of the month’ for September. It was a great month for Manchester United but they will face defending champions Manchester City in their next fixture which will be played on Sunday, 2nd October.
