Mohammed Siraj likely to replace Jasprit Bumrah for the South Africa series

Indian cricket team after winning the first game in Thiruvananthapuram against South Africa have a bad news as their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is ruled out of the series against South Africa and also the T20 World Cup. Bumrah won’t be seen playing in the World Cup due to back injury.

Jasprit Bumrah was back after a month after recovering from an injury he sustained before Asia Cup and he got injured again. Jasprit Bumrah has a serious back stress fracture which will see him out of the team for some days or even months.

As Bumrah is been ruled out of the 3-game T20I series against South Africa, Mohammed Siraj is likely to be given chance and added to the squad for the remaining two games. The Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has played for India in Test cricket a lot but not in blue jersey. This will be a great opportunity for Siraj to showcase his talent in the limited-over format as well.

However BCCI hasn’t confirmed about the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah but the announcement is seem to be very near.
