Official: James Garner joins Everton on a permanent deal

Former Manchester United midfielder James Garner has joined Everton FC on a permanent deal on the transfer window deadline day. The deal was happened a few days ago and after the paperworks and everything was sorted, it was made official by Everton FC on the deadline day (Thursday).

James Garner didn’t play much games for Manchester United first team. However the central midfielder did go with the squad for the pre-season tour. Garner featured in games for Manchester United in pre-season and gave a decent performance in every match he played. According to reports, Erik ten Hag wasn’t searching for the player like James Garner and he thought it would be much better for the player if he stays in Premier League as he will be getting more experience then.

After pre-season games, James Garner was only in the bench for Manchester United in the Premier League new season (2022/23).

“Official, confirmed. James Garner is new Everton player on permanent deal from Manchester United,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Thursday. There is also a sell-back clause included in the deal for James Garner.
