Official: Marcos Alonso joins FC Barcelona from Chelsea

La Liga side FC Barcelona signed Marcos Alonso from Chelsea on a free move. Alonso has a contract with the Premier League side (Chelsea FC) which he decided to terminate on a mutual consent. After contracts were terminated, Alonso wanted to go to Barcelona and the club also wanted to sign him. The deal was striked by Barcelona on the last day of the summer transfer window.
Marcos Alonso joined the side on free and until 2023 with an option to extend for further years. Not only Alonso but Barcelona also signed a new right-back on the deadline day named Hector Bellerin. Hector used to play for the Premier League side Arsenal. Barcelona has done a great business this summer as per their fans. They bought a new striker, a winger, a right-back, left-back, centre-back, etc this summer.
Barcelona made the deal official on Friday, 2nd September after the details and paperworks were signed on the deadline day i.e. Thursday, 1st September. Chelsea gave their left-back and signed a striker from the La Liga side as Aubameyang joined the Premier League side.
