Pablo Gavi wins the Kopa Trophy 2022; named best young player in men’s football

The FC Barcelona midfielder Pablo Gavi won the Kopa Trophy 2022 on Monday night, 17th October in the Ballon d’Or award ceremony which was happened in Paris. The 18-year old Barcelona midfielder is one of the players to watch out in the 2021/22 season as he made his debut for the senior team in this season.
Since his (Gavi) debut, he became the crucial first team player of the Xavi Hernandez (FC Barcelona’s manager). The 18-year old also had his international debut for Spain this year which was very special for the kid. The Kopa Trophy which Gavi recieved is actually presented to the best young player in men’s football in a season. Gavi is one of the important players for Barcelona and the midfielder has also played some UEFA Champions League games for the club this season.
Last year, another Barcelona man got this award named Pedri. Now FC Barcelona has two straight Kopa Trophy awards. However as all expected the Ballon d’Or winner was the French forward Karim Benzema. The top scorer in all competitions was one of the best last season and thus there wasn’t a doubt about who will win this award.
