Roger Binny likely to replace Sourav Ganguly for the BCCI President role

Former Indian left handed batter Sourav Ganguly is set to be taken off by BCCI from the President’s role. BCCI have decided to make a new president in coming days. As per some recent reports, former Indian cricketer Roger Binny is set to replace Sourav Ganguly for the role. Roger Binny could be the new BCCI president.

According to reports, Sourav Ganguly’s lack of performance as the president has put questions on BCCI whether to keep him or replace him. Non-performance has led this thing happened in the committee. However, Amit Shah’s son named Jay Shah is likely to continue his role as secretary of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Jay Shah and Sourav Ganguly worked closely during some period but now it seems Jay Shah will have to work with the former cricketer Roger Binny as Ganguly has decided to step down from the role he was been given.

Sourav Ganguly was appointed as BCCI president in November, 2019. There were many changes made in the Indian cricket since he got into the role, some positives and some negatives but there wasn’t much complaint from anyone regarding Sourav Ganguly’s work.
