Roger Binny wants the Indian pitches to be lively

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after their annual general meeting has brought up some new people into the committee. Former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly is no more a BCCI president, Roger Binny has replaced him as per the official statement released by BCCI on Tuesday, 18th October.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah will still be in the role. After Roger Binny was made the new BCCI president, he gave statement regarding Indian cricket and developments he wants to see in the management and team. Roger Binny also told about his aims after becoming the president.

Roger Binny wants to focus on two things, one is the prevention of the injuries that are nowadays happening a lot. The other thing Roger Binny talked about is Indian pitches. The pitches should be lively as per the new BCCI president.

“As the BCCI president, I want to primarily focus on 2 things. First is the prevention of injuries to the players. Jasprit Bumrah got injured just before the World Cup, which affects the whole plan. Second, I want to focus on the pitches in the country,” said BCCI president Roger Binny as ANI reports.
