Super sub Kylian Mbappe seals the win for PSG

Paris Saint-Germain had their first game in the Ligue 1 after the international break. After nearly two-weeks of break, it was a good performance from the PSG players on Saturday night. Paris Saint-Germain faced OGC Nice in their Ligue 1’s 9th game of the season.

A dominating performance from PSG helped them earn all the three points from this game against OGC Nice. The host defeated the visitors by 2-1. OGC Nice who are not having a great season of Ligue 1 wasn’t impressive in the game. However OGC Nice still managed to pull one goal back in the game.

It all started with a beautiful free-kick from Lionel Messi. The star forward (Lionel Messi) recorded his 60th direct free-kick on Saturday night. After leading the whole first half by 1-0, OGC Nice equalised it in the second half. In the 47th minute, Laborde scored the equaliser and it was 1-1 since then.

Kylian Mbappe who came on from the bench in the 59th minute of the game made the difference. After a poor free-kick from Nice’s goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, PSG’s right back Mukiele run with the ball to leave it for the Mbappe who scored the winner in the 83rd minute. PSG are still intact in the top place of the Ligue 1 points table.
