Suryakumar Yadav drops to No.2 spot in Men’s T20I rankings
Indian cricket team batter Suryakumar Yadav has slipped to No.2 position in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batters rankings. The ICC released the latest rankings on 5th October, Wednesday. Suryakumar Yadav was earlier moved to the first place in the Men’s T20I rankings during the seconda T20I between India and South Africa which was played on Sunday, 2nd October.
The Indian batter could only hold up to the first place for couple of days. However, the batter is in amazing form this year. He has achieved so many milestones in 2022. The Indian cricket team batter (Suryakumar Yadav) broken the record for most runs in T20Is for India in a calendar year. The batter also scored the most number of sixes for India this year and thus India also broke the record of West Indies to score most sixes in a calendar year.
Suryakumar Yadav played very well in some recent series against Australia and South Africa. Because of his performance this year, he has been named in the India’s upcoming T20 World Cup squad. Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan has again occupied the first spot in the latest rankings with a rating point of 854.
